What is a Notification Channel?
Notification channels allow Ammo Scout to inform you of in stock notifications for items you are watching. In most cases, items watched by Ammo Scout go out of stock in minutes. You must act quickly! Subscribe to as many notification channels as needed to ensure you can act!
Viewing Your Notification Channels
Your notification channels can be viewed in your user profile at https://ammoscout.app/profile
A channel must be verified before it can be used. Verified channels are identified via a Verified tag in the Notification Channels table.
Supported Notification Channels
Ammo Scout supports a variety of notification channels so that you are alerted to in stock notifications and may act on them. We encourage you to enable other channels in addition to email to ensure you do not miss notifications.
The following notification channels are supported.
E-mail is the default notification channel enabled after verifying your Ammo Scout account. This channel will notify you anytime an item you are watching changes to in stock or out of stock.
SMS
The SMS channel may be added after verifying your Ammo Scout account. After adding the SMS channel you will receive a text message from Ammo Scout to verify your phone number.
Subscribing and unsubscribing from Ammot Scout SMS notifications can be managed via your Ammo Scout profile at https://ammoscout.app/profile or by responding to the Ammo Scout text message.
Telegram
Ammo Scout offers a bot as described in the Using the Ammo Scout Telegram Bot article. This bot enables you to manage items you watch and receive notifications.
Adding a Notification Channel
Notification channels can be added via your profile at https://ammoscout.app/profile.
1. Navigate to https://ammoscout.app/profile
2. Click the Add New Notification Channel button
3. Select the notification channel you wish to add
4. Follow the steps provided.
Managing Your Notification Channels
Your notification channels can be enabled or disabled by visiting your profile at https://ammoscout.app/profile. Within your profile, you may toggle on and off your different notification channels.
